Class Overview
The Professional Product Owner - Advanced (PSPO-A) course is designed to help experienced Product Owners expand their abilities and establish a strong vision. Through this class, Product Owners gain insights on validating hypotheses and delivering increased value to stakeholders. The course deepens understanding of the Product Owner role by exploring various stances and practices.
This class is ideal for Product Owners with at least one year of experience, aiming to enhance their knowledge and skills. It is a live virtual class scheduled from August 14-17, 2023, with daily sessions from 8:00 AM to Noon CST. Participants are encouraged to actively engage in discussions throughout the class.
The Professional Scrum Product Owner Advanced (PSPO-Advanced) course is hands-on and activity-based, allowing students to delve into Professional Scrum and understand the critical role of the Product Owner within the Scrum Team. Throughout the course, participants learn various Product Ownership practices that can be applied beyond the classroom, alongside an introduction to Agile Product Management. Additionally, the course includes a free attempt at the globally recognized Professional Scrum Product Owner II (PSPO II) certification exam.
Included in the course are four half-days of instruction, a complimentary attempt to earn the PSPO II certification, and access to the complete slide deck and supplementary materials used during the class.
Upon completing the course, participants will receive an exam code from Scrum.org for the PSPO II certification exam, which will be provided within 48 hours.
Moreover, students of Scrum.org courses are eligible to claim 14 Project Management Institute (PMI) PDU credits for attending the PSPO class. It is important to note that PMI PDUs are earned for course attendance, rather than for passing a Scrum.org assessment.
