Adopting an agile product approach to delivering capabilities allows organizations to align and invest in value and outcomes.

One of the key ideas of the Agile Product Operating Model (APOM) is that organizations need to take a holistic approach to their operating model. An operating model can not just focus on process and organization, but needs to include all elements necessary to enable teams to deliver value. One of those elements is incentive programs for employees. Too often, organizations adopt agile or product practices to undermine their adoption with an incentive program that discourages collaboration or a focus on real value. Incentives, visible (bonus, promotion) and invisible (power, position, and authority) are crucial to enabling APOM to be adopted and continually improved.

In this webinar, Dave West, CEO of Scrum.org, discusses good and bad incentive programs and how organizations need to step back from traditional approaches to embrace a program that enables APOM to prosper.
