Description

As the Scrum Guide states, Scrum is simple to understand, but difficult to master. This is why this immersive 2-day hands-on course goes far beyond theory and challenges students to experience Scrum mechanics, roles and principles while working together as a team in a series of Sprints where they build a realistic software application. The combination of instruction and team exercises helps students experience how the Scrum framework improves product development efforts. They form real Scrum Teams and gain insights into overcoming complexity, dealing with team collaboration and self-organization as essential elements in mastering Scrum.

Through the practical application of Scrum, the course exposes common missteps and misunderstandings encountered inside  and outside Scrum Teams so students can grow a higher awareness of associated symptoms. The course provides prescriptive guidance to avoid going off track and keeping Scrum healthy.

The course includes a free attempt at the globally recognized Professional Scrum Master I certification exam (PSM I).
