About Mary Iqbal

Mary Iqbal is a Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) with Scrum.org and the founder of Rebel Scrum, an Agile training and consulting organization that helps companies transform the way they deliver value.

As an Agile Transformation Manager at WPS Health Insurance, Mary was responsible for organizational agility across more than 60 Agile teams and 30 products. She has hands-on experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Program Manager, and Project Manager, and has led multi-million-dollar initiatives to launch new government contracts and double the size of a major line of business.

Mary is also the organizer of Scrum Day Madison and Scrum Day Houston, annual conferences that bring together Scrum practitioners and leaders from around the world to share insights, experiences, and emerging practices.

Her teaching style is engaging, practical, and grounded in real-world experience. Mary blends deep knowledge of Scrum and leadership with an understanding of how modern tools — including AI — are reshaping the way product teams work and deliver value.
