Professional Scrum Master II

Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) course is a 2-day advanced Scrum Master course designed to support Scrum Masters in their professional development. The PSM II course is intended for Scrum Masters with at least one year of experience who are looking to grow their knowledge and abilities as a Scrum Master. This course is one step in that journey.

De Professional Scrum Master II course is right for you if you: 

• Have participated in the Professional Scrum Master I course or a similar course and are certified as a Scrum Master
• Are experienced in working with Scrum

COURSE OBJECTIVES

After participating in the Professional Scrum Master II course you will have:

• A clear understanding of what practices, tools, skills and stances make an effective Scrum Master
• Knowledge of how the Scrum principles and values help guide you in the decisions you make
• Knowledge of how you can act as a servant-leader and improve your ability in this role
• A clear understanding of what you can do to support Development Teams and Product Owners to become more effective
• Gained knowledge of ways that you can help to change the environment making it more conducive for Scrum Teams to be successful with greater agility
• The ability to provide tips and techniques to work with the rest of the organization in support of their Scrum Teams

PREPARATION

A good basis for any training course is reading the Scrum Guide. You can also take a free online assessment. 

EXAM

After completing the course, you will receive an exam code from Scrum.org for taking the PSM2 exam. You will receive this code within 48 hours. There are no extra costs involved and the code has no expiration date. Experience shows that participants score best when taking the exam within a week after completing the course. Your exam code is valid once. If you take the exam within 14 days after completing the course, and unfortunately do not pass the needed 85%, Scrum.org will offer you a one-time free resit. Please note that you will not receive this gift if you take the exam 14 days after completing the course and that these costs will be yours.
