I recently completed the PSM 1 Scrum class and couldn’t be more satisfied. The course was incredibly well-structured, engaging, and packed with valuable insights. The instructor James did a fantastic job of breaking down complex Scrum concepts into practical, real-world applications. The interactive sessions, real-life examples, and thoughtful discussions helped reinforce the core principles of Scrum and prepared me thoroughly for the PSM 1 certification exam. Very engaging! Lots of interaction to put learning into practice.

Jim Quantrell is a very excellent lecturer. He is very good with engaging and triggering deep thoughts. I also like how the class was a 2 way conversation with inputs from both students and lecturer. This is particularly great because you get to learn and hear of what other people have experienced. I also liked the pace of the course, everything was detailed, punctual and emphasised. The custom song requests 'jukebox' also added a nice personal touch and nice tunes to decompress to during breaks in between lessons. Absolute legend!!

Very good refresher course. Recommend to anyone who already has CSM/PSM I certification. Course was delivered in concise and focused structure hitting on the key notes from the Scrum guide and how those might relate to real life scenarios. With the knowledge gained from the course it inspired me to think of things I could take away to improve as a scrum master.

Jim was brilliant at explaining scrum not just from a professional stance but could also provide real examples tailored to the classes requirements in their day jobs. The scrum foundation recap worked really well to reaffirm my knowledge which was then built upon with the Advanced class. Music was a big hit in the class and helped put us at ease and bring us out of our shells. I now feel I have a good toolkit to help me improve as a scrum master but also help the whole scrum team improve their effectiveness.

The Scrum Master that took the course was very knowledgeable in applying SCRUM in the real world and a very good communicator and presenter. He also played some fab music during breaks :) I would also say I had a good crowd of fellow "scrummies" on the course :)

Jim is a great teacher who kept us on track and his experience as a very competent Scrum Master is evident in the real life scenarios that he shares. I liked that he still works with teams so still has hands on experience. The course had plenty of breaks which really helps focus and a lot of activities which also keep us focused and help us to learn in a practical style. Jim has a very confident delivery style peppered with good humour and good anecdotes too. I really enjoyed the course, I have learned lots that I can action for my team.

Excellent course and delivered superbly by James. I felt fully engaged and had quite a few light bulb / penny drop moments throughout the 2 day course. The teacher was very nice and helpful. The class was extremely interactive instead of being a long lecture, which helped retain information through experiences. The teacher also gave us plenty of examples, relevant past experiences, and tips to help do well in our Scrum assessments. Highly recommended!

Engaging, informative and educational - I really enjoyed this course.

Jim! The teacher was an expert, I've had to give trainings in the past and can appreciate how difficult it is to keep someone's attention for 3 hours in one day. He manages to keep it for 5 hours a day over 3 days. Dry and witty sense of humor gave some levity throughout, learned a lot through this interactive course.

Really useful content delivered expertly by Jim over the 2 days. Enjoyed how the training was intense but very easy to follow and digest.

The pace of the training was good and the trainer had our attention all the time. I appreciated the interactive part of the training where we worked in groups trying to solve problems. Overall, the training was fun and very helpful.
