Professional Scrum Master

The 2-day Professional Scrum Master (PSM) course covers the principles and process theory underpinning the Scrum framework, and the role of the Scrum Master in it. Throughout the course you will mainly focus on the power of Scrum.

IS THE PROFESSIONAL SCRUM MASTER COURSE RIGHT FOR ME?

The Professional Scrum Master course is the right choice for you if you:

• Have some experience in working with Scrum
• Have read the Scrum Guide prior to your participation
• Want to better understand and apply Scrum within your position

You do not need to have participated in any entry-level courses to successfully participate in this training course. 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

After participating in the Professional Scrum Master course you will have:

• A clear understanding of the rules of Scrum through the empirical foundation of Scrum
• The ability to act as a Scrum Master for Scrum Teams and stakeholders from an in-depth understanding of servant-leadership
• Knowledge to effectively start using Scrum
• The ability to increase the effectiveness of Scrum underway

PREPARATION

A good basis for any training course is reading the Scrum Guide. You can also take a free online assessment. 

EXAM

After completing the course, you will receive an exam code from Scrum.org for taking the PSM 1 exam. You will receive the code within 48 hours. There are no extra costs involved and the code has no expiration date. Experience shows that participants score best when taking the exam within a week after completing the course. Your exam code is valid once. If you take the exam within 14 days after completing the course, and unfortunately do not pass the 85%, Scrum.org will offer you a one-time free resit. Please note that you will not receive this gift if you take a exam 14 days after participation, these costs will be yours.
